P3_9 Exposition (Planning & Writing)
You will now use the examples undertaken in class to plan and write your own Exposition on a topic of your choice.
Planning Options:
a) Use the planning document title exposition_re_write_student
Save all work onto your USB.
OR...
b). Use the PBWorks wiki to plan and write up your information report. On this site, you can also provide meaningful feedback on your partner recount to improve their writing and vice versa.

1. When you are ready to start writing (after planning your Information Report).... click edit to write your Information Report.
2. Go to PBWorks.com
3. Log in and under "Go to work space" enter your class work space:

4. Under the Navigation Tool bar, click on your class folder
5. Under your class folder, click on your group folder.
6. Under your class tab will be your group folder, click on this.
7. Open the page Exposition planning and writing.
Use the planning document title exposition_rewrite_student as a guide for your exposition.
Things to address:
- Who is the audience?
- What is the purpose?
- Is it written in third person?
- Does it

2. Present a clear argument?
3. Sum up all main ideas in a conclusion?
1. To check your work, use the document titled Student Marking criteria (writing)
2. Have a peer check over your writing using the checklist.
